Font Change Email Sig

Correct the error

If you use Word to edit your email, you might have stumbled on the problem of "sticky" fonts.

You change the signature font to Trebuchet - Red, but it still displays Times New Roman -Black.

When you create a signature in Microsoft Outlook, the signature does not retain the font or the color that you specified.

Here's how Microsoft suggests you fix the glitch.
  1. Create a new e-mail message in Outlook. The new e-mail message should open in Word.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Click Web Options.
  5. Click the Fonts tab.
  6. In the Proportional font box, click to select a font other than Times New Roman.
  7. Click OK to close the Web Options dialog box.
  8. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
  9. Close the new e-mail message and exit Word.

When you create a signature in Outlook, the font and color that you specify should now be saved.

You can now set the font in the Proportional font box to Times New Roman.
