You can also turn ClearType on at the ClearType Web interface. This web site also allows you to tune ClearType for your own personal preference and for your display. Tuning ClearType makes an adjustment to Windows XP's 'contrast' or 'gamma' value set for your screen. If you have a problem with blurry type on CRT monitors, you can turn off Microsoft ClearType for Microsoft Word 2003 Reading Layout mode.
